Abdulrahman Ali Barman

Executive Director

Born in 1972, Abdulrahman Ali Barman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Sana’a University.
He is a licensed attorney authorized to plead before the Supreme Court of Yemen and previously served as the President of the Yemeni Students’ Union. He is also a member of the HOOD Organization.
Barman has been actively involved in advocating for Yemeni detainees held in Guantanamo Bay, Bagram, and Iraq. He is the founder and former president of Sajeen Organization and served as a member of the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Human Rights Violations (2015–2017).
In addition to his legal work, he is a human rights trainer and currently serves as the Chairman of Barman Law and Legal Consultancy Firm.

Badr A

Financial Officer

is one of the founders of the American Center for Justice and currently serves as the financial officer of the center. Badr studied chemistry at the Faculty of Science in Yemen before coming to the United States, the land of freedom, to seek better opportunities for a better life. In addition to his deep and ongoing interest in human rights issues, Badr believes in the importance of human rights work to create positive change on a global level through his role at the American Center.
