Sam announces the hacking of its website, confirming its right to prosecute those responsible



Sam Organization for Rights and Liberties said on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, that an unknown party had hacked the organization’s website, and Sam described this crime as an attempt to silence mouths, and withholding voices supporting human rights in # Yemen in particular and the Middle East in general, by parties that did not It flaunts her the line that Sam has taken in exposing violations in Yemen by all parties, while not neglecting its legal positions.

“Sam” stated in a press statement that its website was hacked by a party that called itself (#MR ROOT/.) while the matter is currently being followed up with the competent authorities tracking the source of the breach, as Sam confirmed that it reserves its legal right to prosecute the responsible parties behind this crime.

“Sam” said that the breach of its website comes as part of several attempts over the years to silence the organization’s human rights voice in monitoring and documenting human rights violations in Yemen, particularly the crimes of the Saudi-UAE coalition and Houthi militia.

SAM for rights and Liberties noted its followers that what may be published on its site is no longer represented by it until the issuance of another statement, and that its positions will be published via its platforms on social media.
