Michigan - While the world celebrates the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, the Israeli military operation on the Palestinian territories, especially the Gaza Strip, is still at its peak, as the residents of the besieged Strip are going through a difficult time in which they are exposed to various types of violations, including direct killing, mass massacres, forced displacement, deprivation of humanitarian aid, and targeting of civilian objects, especially hospitals and places of worship.
The American Center for Justice points out that although the United Nations has declared November 29 of each year an international occasion to celebrate solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Israeli military attack on the Gaza Strip has been continuing for 53 days, resulting in the killing of more than 20,000 Palestinians, inclufing 8,241 children and 4,126 women. The attack also resulted in the displacement of 1,730,000 citizens. Hospitals were directly targeted and stormed, as happened with Al-Shifa and Al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital after they were besieged, medical aid for patients was prevented from entering, and electricity was cut off, which resulted in the death of many children and injured people before the eyes of the international community and UN agencies, without the parties registering any actual and moral position that would contribute to stopping these attacks and crimes.
These attacks were not limited to the Gaza Strip, as during the past few days the Israeli army carried out several raids into several cities in the West Bank, especially Jenin and Nablus, and arrested dozens, in addition to blowing up many homes.
(ACJ) confirms that it monitored the Israeli army intentionally targeted civilians in the Gaza Strip and commiitted serious crimes with knowledge of their consequences without any regard to the rules of international law that guaranteed the full protection of civilians, especially the Hague Rules related to the laws and customs of land warfare, and the Geneva Conventions, especially the fourth. The center also pointed out that the evidence and incidents monitored by the American Center for Justice that indicate the involvement of the Israeli army in war crimes and crimes against humanity in accordance with the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
We, the American Center for Justice (ACJ), call on the international community to show full solidarity with the Palestinian people by pressuring Israel to stop its aggression and indiscriminate, disproportionate attacks against civilians and to stop the deliberate targeting of the infrastructure, stressing that the international community bears full responsibility for the escalation of crimes against civilians in the Gaza Strip by taking a negative and weak stance in the face of the genocide crimes that occur in the Strip continues.
