The American Center for Justice condemns today's police raid on pro-Palestinian encampment students of Wayne State University (WSU) in Detroit during a peaceful camp. ‏Students were peacefully  protesting against the ongoing war crimes in Gaza, which have persisted for eight months. According to reports given to CAIR-MI, two Muslim women were violently subdued, resulting in their hijabs being removed.

The American Center for Justice (ACJ) demands the immediate release without charges of all peaceful protesters arrested by law enforcement and calls for Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel to investigate the incident. The ACJ warns that such actions by law enforcement undermine civil liberties, the spirit of justice, and national unity in the United States.
