American Center for Justice condemns the killing of a football captain and his son by Houthi shelling

American Center for Justice (ACJ) expresses its strong condemnation of the Houthis’ artillery bombardment that targeted the stadium of Al-Ahly Sports Club in Taiz and killed the football captain Naser Al-Raimi, the former footballer of Al-Talia Sports Club, and his 10 year-old son Emran and injured two other children on Saturday morning, December 12, 2020.

American Center for Justice (ACJ) emphasizes that the bombing of the sports club, the killing of Al-Raimi and his son and injuring the other children is yet another war crime added to the violation records of Houthis who continue to target densely populated areas.

American Center for Justice (ACJ) declares its condemnation of the continuation of systematic targeting of the civilian objects in the besieged governorate of Taiz by Houthis since this war started. ACJ also calls the international community, United Nations agencies and peace advocates to shoulder their responsibility to prevent these violations which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity.
