After his Health Deteriorated, The President of (ACJ) Calls on the International Red Cross to Provide Health Care to Journalist Tawfiq Al-Mansoori

The President of the American Center for Justice, Latifa Jamel, stated that the journalist Abdullah Al-Mansoori, who is detained in the Central Security Camp of the Houthis, is suffering from a serious health deterioration as a direct result of being deprived of medical aid. Local and international human rights organizations have called for his unconditional release six years ago, which did not prompt any response from the Houthi militia.

President Jamel urges the International Red Cross to arrange a visit to Al-Mansoori at Central Security in Sana’a and to allow his family to see him as well as other journalists with full access to healthcare and aid.

Jamel also calls on the international community to exert serious and real pressure to end the suffering of all detainees in Houthi controlled prisons and to release them immediately and unconditionally.
