7 journalists injured by Houthi targeting a meeting of many channel correspondents in Al-Jouf province, northeast Yemen

The National Organization of Yemeni Journalists ( SADA ) in a Condemnation statement, condemns in the strongest terms, the Houthi group’s targeting of a group of journalists and media correspondents during a meeting in Al-Jauf province northeast Yemen.

SADA received a report saying that the meeting place of the journalists was bombed by Houthi group, with Katyusha rockets, 7 journalist were injured, along with two cars were burned for the reporters of Aden satellite channel and Yemen Shabab satellite channel.

The organization, while wishing the safety of fellow journalists and media correspondents, holds the Houthi group fully responsible for their safety and lives, considering the bombing on their meeting as an intended targeting of them as journalists and reporters.

SADA calls on human rights organizations and international organizations to condemn this heinous crime appealing to the international community and its organizations to take urgent measures to save the Yemeni journalists whose conditions worsened and the violations of their rights increased.
